86% and 5pbs

For a change, I thought I might feature WAVA percentages, provoked by Laurence Taylor’s 85.76 (or 86% to most of us) in a 7th place at Albert Park. Others to get over 80% were Chris Dunne (83.97) in second place there and Doug Howarth (81.6) at Stewart Park. Doug also set a new pb so a pretty good ay all round.
The good weather brought several pbs : for Simon Ward and Jack Bosomworth at Albert Park and for Richard Atkins and Julie McNicholas at Stewart Park.
Jack Hustwitt took first place at Flatts Lane, followed home by Harry Potter while Paul McGough completed his 200th run at Sowerby where Neil Enskat also competed.
Among the tourists, David Claybrook and Ian Higgins enjoyed the scenery at Fountains Abbey, Jason and Lisa Pattinson sampled the coast air at Cotsford Fields while William & Sharon Gayter saw the West Coast at Ford. Phil & Kerry Jarvis, David Watkins, Natt Carling and 3 Halls (Iain, James & Rach) all went to Durham where the timer didn’t work.
