Not just for younger runners.

Last Saturday, 43 Nymac members turned out at 10 separate events and it was the older generation who posted the best performances. Brian Laverick (60-64) set a new age category record at Whitby, the relatively young Stuart Dawes (50-54) had a new pb at Stewart park while Mr Consistency, David Watkins (55-59) ran an 18.01 time at his spiritual home, Albert Park. Sharon Gayter ran her 499th Parkrun at Redcar – where is the 500th?
This week’s tourists were Anne Robson (Highbury Fields), Sarah Towers (Gateshead), Jeff Belt (Millfield) , Iain Hall got to enter Wales and turn back at Severn Bridge while I had a flat run round fields in Cirencester.
