Fell Run Intro

I will be starting these in April on Monday nights once the clocks go forward.  The meeting time will be at 6.30 and to start with we’ll run for about an hour, maybe extending to 75-90 minutes later in the year if people want to continue them.  There has been some interest, mainly from people who did them last year, but from a few new people too.  They are aimed at those new to fell running (although all are welcome) and so we will run them at an easy pace, regrouping at key points.  I’ll vary the meeting points and the routes and will post details of the first four runs in a couple of weeks once I’ve given some thought to how I might try to align them to the local summer series run by Esk Valley Fell Club on Wednesday nights.  That way we could recce the routes beforehand for people wanting to have a go at a race.  In the meantime if anyone has any questions just email me at pwchriston (at) googlemail.com
