All levels of experience, up to international athletes are catered for.  Newcomers most welcome - just turn up and join in your preferred session. During the winter months a head torch is essential (if you are scared of the dark you can train on the roads - as do the majority of our club members- see below). If you feel intimidated by our speedy men :-) then there's our girly sesh only taken by experienced runners. Enjoy good company around the woodland trails and open moors in the Guisborough area. The sessions are greatly enjoyed by a group of ladies (in ever increasing numbers!) and usually consist of two sessions  of approx 60 and 90 minutes of running. If you are considering coming along then as a guide to your fitness level you should be able to run at least 5 miles over hilly terrain e.g the trails around Guisborough Woods.   All year round Sundays start 0900 Walk - various locations throughout North York Moors
The group was formed naturally by long standing club members who still liked to get together to do something on the hills even though most of us will probably never run again due to various injuries picked up over the years. We walk regularly on Tuesday evenings, usual start 6:15-6:30pm till 8:30pm and Sunday mornings 9:00am start for a 2-3 hour walk somewhere on the North York Moors.
